Today was a great day to go. Not too busy. My 6 year old son loved the rides. He wad able to go on all of them. They do measure the kids for each ride. But we had so much fun. We are all tired.

My daughter loves coming here. We always take the full day pass and that is totally worth the price. She keeps running around and hops from one ride to another. Her favorite is the carousel and the Dragon ride. We even ride the train 2 times on our visit because it’s so damn nice. Will keep coming back for more until she grows out of it.

Really only took the girls to do some recon as I had heard that the park wasn’t up to par… That little island was so cute for the girls… They loved the train ride and we will definitely go back this weekend… Probably even do her party there this year… Hell yeah!!

Nice little park. It’s unfortunate that you cannot sit in the grass.

Even though it was small, it was very peaceful and visually pleasing. Definitely a great place to sit on a bench for a while to be in the moment, meditate, or just enjoy the scenery, or a romantic moment. Cute little gift shop and yummy Japanese beverages and confections for purchase. Adult admission when I went was $10, with inexpensive annual memberships available. They also have of their tea house for a few dollars more. For me, it was worth the admission 🙂

My favorite part was walking through the tiny homes. Getting to see creative ideas of making a bedroom, living room and dining room. This place is big so wear something comfortable to walk around in. Tickets were $25 per person which isn’t bad at all. Overall it was Fun!

My friend and I came to have lunch at the museum. We didn’t visit the exhibits. But parking was free and easy and the museum campus was interesting and nicely laid out with different focus areas. We had lunch outside on the patio of Palette, the restaurant at the Phoenix Art Museum. The food and beverages were wonderful. I had the quesidilla with a side of their beautiful fries and my friend had the grilled cheese. The adult beverages were refreshingly cool and perfectly made; tasty too. We were both very happy with our choices. After we ordered, the food came promptly. Plus each of the different servers we chatted with were super friendly and helpful. We’ll be back definitely and will bring more friends. Also they had smaller black birds outside (I have no idea what kind). But they didn’t bother diners and added to the charm as they hopped on the grass next to the patio. They were super cute. I highly recommend Palette. Sit outside under the umbrellas or in the shade under the building overhang.

I really liked a lot of exhibits. The miniature houses, the fireflies, the fashion exhibit, and the wild looking art that looked like it exploded out of someone’s head

But, there was quite a bit of Jesus.

I get, art had to be functional back then, but man, he’s everywhere.

Wonderful architecture though.

I give it a it’s cool outta ten.

This place is amazing!! The staff was beyond wonderful!! The staff interacts with the kids on all three floors. Lots of awesome pretend play activities and the biggest climbing jungle gym we have ever seen!! So much learning and exploring for our little ones. I would love to go back over and over again.

Omg if I could give 10 stars I would! So much to do. My 4 year old loved it all. Price was reasonable. Make sure to bring your own snacks when the little ones get hungry. Staff were great! Wish I got the name of the gift shop girl but she was amazing! So sweet and funny! We will definitely come back again! And FREE parking!

About a month and a half ago I took my 2 year old son for the first time and he had a wonderful time. Sadly the decision to require masking of children as two has us unable to return and enjoy this wonderful museum. I’m very surprised a museum that seems to understand children so well would have a policy for such a young child to be in a mask. I’m hopeful they reconsider and apply a more reasonable policy so that young children can enjoy this space freely.

Great museum so much history on display. The memorial room for fallen officers was very touching and beautifully designed. The best part was the staff. From the moment we walked in the door I felt like I was chatting with my next door neighbors. What absolutely marvelous folks.

Super neat place to learn about the history of the police force in Phoenix. Fun for the kids too, they let them put on a police shirt, sit inside an old cop car and sit on a police motorcycle. Kids loved it!

I love this place. Living in Phoenix this was my go to place to take my visitors from out of state. Anyone whom would ask me what to do in Phoenix I would recommend this museum. The gift shop is amazing and has one-of-a-kind pieces and artwork. The staff and volunteers are amazing. The art and artifacts are gorgeous.

I Love the Heard Museum! A must go to if you come to Phoenix. The exhibitions are beautiful. Some of them are eye opening. The kachina dolls are beautiful, the pottery and Navajo rugs are breathtaking. Stop by the cafe and the gift shop afterward.

I feel I went to the wrong place because my experience was vastly different than everyone else. Exhibits were emotionless and did not provoke thought or insight into important prior or current native American living. It’s was all tapestries, pots, dolls, and bead work from 1840-2020, but that’s it. Small exhibit on schools was in the right direction but even that exhibit lacked the art and personal depth to add insight into what they went through, and what generations after feel about the experiences their parents and culture went through. Nothing insightful or thought provoking beyond the surface of “oh that’s terrible”. It felt very white washed and G rated to the point of feeling like I’ve already “been there, seen that” and was REALLY hoping to see some powerful artwork or emotion driven concepts and pieces that would catch your eye and make you think, “oh wow, what happened to make someone want to create this?”.

They also refuse to let you bring in water despite medical conditions, and everything is behind glass so you can’t even spill on it by accident. Also have to mention that there was an absurd amount of security guards. Every turn had someone in uniform staring at you, Ive never seen this before at other art/museum places. Usually they have workers dressed nicely to talk to or get more insight, which this place did not.

Solid 3/10, I just think I expected more for the price and out of Phoenix. Did not learn anything new or feel like I felt the highs of lows of their culture and society.

Had a great time with my family yesterday. I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The staff was wearing masks, but no one was forcing the patrons to wear them. Yes, the exhibits are mostly geared towards younger kids, but my two teenagers found enough to be entertained for 3 hours. The staff is very friendly and the planetarium show was good. They have some awesome tarantulas on exhibit right now. We were sad that the gift shop and snack bar were closed, but it’s not a deal breaker. Overall great experience.

One of the best children’s science museums in the country, in my opinion. The way this place is laid out is so intuitive, it’s a joy to stroll through with or without children. Actually, some of the adult activities that happen in the evening there are wildly fun as well. The rotating exhibits are always fascinating, and there’s so much amazing hands on stuff. This is a must-see if you have children or just like science.

We visited on a Sunday morning. I loved the science shows, one was about fire and another one was about liquid nitrogen. The scientists showed some pretty cool experiments. We walk to grab lunch downtown because their cafe was closed due to pandemic. My kids really enjoyed the day at the science center. They say it was fun.

We were very excited to try this new place out for Father’s Day, drive up from Tucson to do so. Their website kept giving us errors when trying to book ahead of time so we ended up having go as a walk- in. We ended up having to wait 3 hours til race time. We bought 3 races for 5 people which was pretty pricey but we thought it would be worth it. After our first race there was about 15 minutes before the next one which we just waited in the gate for, no big deal. After the 2nd we were standing in the same place as the first but noticed that a lot more people were being let in and going ahead of us. The attendant asked us to step outside the gate and wait which we thought was odd since we should have been next. We waited for quite some time and then asked when our next race would start and we were told to go ask the front desk to figure that out. She proceeded to tell us that we were called for next race and missed it, that was impossible since we were right in the racing arena the entire time. When we called them out on this, they all of a sudden said they it was a “Glitch” in the system and were offered a refund. Then the Manager came over and said he couldn’t give us a refund because we got a “package deal” which wasn’t the case. He stated we could use the passes at a later date. This is totally unacceptable since it was a gift for Father’s day, we hadn’t finished what we paid for and we had already waited the entire afternoon just to start the first race. What kind of customer service is this? Now having read some of the other reviews, I see that it’s a reoccurring problem! Again… where is the customer service?

This place needs to rethink how they staff and operate their facility. Not enough front of the house staff. Had to wait 10 minutes to get someone to help us purchase drinks. I had bought 3 ride passes but they failed to schedule the third race and we waited forever before figuring this out. We were told to see front desk staff to correct and we had to wait 10 minutes while the only person there checked out a group of 6 that all paid separately. The staff had stated it would take 1 hour to complete all 3 races but it took 2 hours and it was not busy when we were there. The kids enjoyed the first ride but their enthusiasm started to decline with the wait time. I would not recommend this place.

NO REFUNDS!
Read
Hi 👋 TO THE TERRIBLE MANAGER LIAM
Better have all day to be here. First of all you can not make reservations online, upon getting here we were told it was a three hour wait for next race. We have never been here first time. The girl working said we could come back. This was around 2:20 pm. We come back at 4:50 check in at the front just to see where we were at, the poor guy couldn’t find us he finally located us and he said our race time had passed, two other guys that were there at the same time we were there earlier had the same issue.
This was BEYOND UNORGANIZED for us to get in the next race was going to be 40 minutes and the second race and hour or so after. Upon asking for a refund we were told they have to get the manager. We waited for the MANAGER LIAM!! for 40 minutes never ONCE came down to show his face! By that time it was time for our first race. The employee was pretty adamant that they do not do refunds that they can credit the races to come back another time but no refunds or we can keep waiting for the manager to come down but “he’s very busy” did I mention his name is Liam. Pretty sure this is a tactic to buy time. They do not offer refunds since it’s so unorganized everyone would want a refund.
We had our first race and the second one was credited to a later time, see you than LIAM.

It could have been so much more. Thank you real estate developer heading Hance Park Conservancy for retarding progress for years and years and years. You did a perfect job stalling progress and turning away rainmakers from developing funds to improve the park while accomplishing your own agenda.
The stars are given for the Irish cultural center and the Japanese Friendship Garden, definitely worthwhile destinations.

I only got pictures of some of the sculptures that are different inside, but it’s easily a kid’s parkour dream. Lots of different ropes courses, a large sandbox with white sand, a rock climbing wall, and splash pad that’s open 8am to 8 pm. An owl sculpture with a slide. Mainly for age groups 5 to 10. But the were little swings my toddler liked as well and some things he could climb with supervision.

What a disappointment. Even though other places in Phoenix would let me in, this state capitol said it had “covid protocols” preventing people from going in. Perhaps they were afraid that outsiders would expose the ongoing fraudit that is clearly going on in Maricopa county and other places due to the Arizona Senate’s bootlicking of Trumpistas.
